You can contact the County Health department and/or find burning regulations here.

The State & County regulate the amount of burning allowable throughout the year to maintain safe air quality. You can find local air quality reports here or by calling 406-751-8130.

December 1 – February 29 – No open burning (Season Closed)

March 1 – April 30 – Open burning. No burning permit required. Air Quality compliance required.

May 1 – June 30 – Burning permit required from DNRC(Department of Natural Resources and Conservation). Air Quality compliance required.

July 1 – September 30 – No burning in Flathead County and some Lake County RFD’s. May be earlier or later due to fire conditions.

October 1 – November 30 – Open burning. No burning permit required. Air Quality compliance required.

HOA dues cover the cost of water quality testing in our lakes, to maintain our entrance, support Creston Elementary School and Creston Fire Services, among other expenses.

Invoice for HOA dues are mailed out January and due by the end of February.

Hunting is prohibited in Many Lakes.

Fireworks are not allowed in Many Lakes ALL year long per Covenant Amendment 29
